Dr. Prem Tripathi is a fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Dr. Tripathi has trained at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country. After college, he attended Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, earning over 10 merit-based scholarships and being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, given only to the top 10% of medical students in the country. “I believe in maximizing facial harmony while honoring and highlighting what makes you uniquely you.” He has devoted his entire career to aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck and prides himself on creating natural-looking results. He specializes in rhinoplasty, facelift, neck lift, eyelid surgery, lip lift, facial rejuvenation, and nonsurgical procedures.

Irina Akkerman, FNP-C, MSN, Board Certified, Owner and Clinical Director, with more than 20 years of Aesthetic Skin Care experience. Irina is an acclaimed nurse practitioner/master injector with a Masters in Nursing Science. Expert in facial rejuvenation, she can advise you in correcting sun damaged or aging skin and providing anti-aging skin and body care. Artful Aesthetics is staffed by a hand-picked team of dedicated experts in the art of non- and minimally-invasive aesthetic medical services led by Irina Akkerman. Our select menu of skin rejuvenation, facial refinement, and body contouring procedures are delivered in a private, spa-like setting, and our practitioners work with each patient to achieve the natural, refreshed look they desire. At Artful Aesthetics we specialize in the “not done” look, provide natural results and effective skin care.

Evelyn Blumin, RN

Evelyn Blumin, RN is a graduate of University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. For the past 13 years she has worked full time in the field of medical aesthetics. She has had comprehensive training and is experienced in administering numerous non-surgical aesthetic procedures including IPL, Botox, radio frequency procedures, Fraxel, Clear and Brilliant, lasers, injectables, and Coolsculpting. Her background and experience allow her to educate and guide her patients through a variety of available aesthetic procedures in choosing the best ones for their individual needs. Evelyn’s ultimate goal is to provide her patients with treatments that result in aesthetically pleasing and natural results.

Lily is a Bay Area native and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. “I’ve had the pleasure to work in medical aesthetics for over 9 years and to say I like what I do would be an understatement! I am truly passionate about helping patients age gracefully with the help of non surgical treatments. My favorite treatments include Botox and dermal fillers but not limited to lasers and medical-grade skincare! I love creating treatment plans that integrate these multiple modalities to achieve the very best harmonic results. Outside of work, I can be found hanging out with my 3 kids and husband. We love being outdoors and love spending time with family.”

Angelica is a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist. She has experience working as an MA in dermatology and aesthetics, which has sparked her passion for this industry. Angelica has her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and is pursing her Master’s degree to achieve a career as an advanced practice provider. She also strives to provide great customer service and support for those who are interested in kickstarting their skin rejuvenation journey!

In addition to her duties in the office, Zaphia is a nursing student and nursing assistant. She is actively pursuing her Bachelor’s in Science of Nursing. She has experience in cosmetics from working as a beauty advisor in Sephora. She has grown a passion for enhancing people’s beauty and skin, as well as educating patients on skincare practices. She believes that when patients are well-informed and supported, they can make the best choices for their aesthetic needs. She has a deep appreciation for how medical aesthetics empower individuals to experience a boost in their self-assurance.
